If tax returns are Acknowledged by March 11th at 11am they will be available on
March 19th according to the IRS.

If you put a return on hold and try to open it the same day you must do a return retrieval

We are unable to E-File the homebuyer credit returns. (IRS is not accepting anything but paper). We can file them but please check with Laura until we get the procedure complete.

W2's and 1099R's (1099's with witholding) must be sent in with the paper Federal and State returns.

- Remember to identify customer over the phone when telling them they have a check.
- Don't leave messages telling customers their check is ready. Leave a message to contact you at your extension.
- If they have a small state check please tell them that. If they are expecting an $8,000 federal check and you tell them their check is ready and they drive over to get a $10 state check they will be upset.
